topographic map: A type of map that shows the shape and elevations of the land in a particular area.

tourist maps: A type of map designed for tourists who wish to explore notable places in a particular city or area. They typically show roads, transportation methods (train, trolley, bus, etc.), and points of interest such as museums, parks and historical places.

traffic map: A type of map that shows traffic conditions in a given area.

weather map: A type of map that shows weather conditions in a given location.
